This rule is being adopted in the spirit of the USGA “Play it Forward” program in order to improve enjoyment of the game and speed of play for everyone. The rules are listed below and may be updated from time to time based on the success of the program.
1. Any member 80 years of age and older may move to the “RED” tees at their own discretion regardless of handicap. You must clearly mark on the tournament signup / weekly competition card which tees you are playing.

2. Any member 70 – 79 years of age may move to the “WHITE” tees at their own discretion regardless of handicap. You must clearly mark on the tournament signup / weekly competition card the which tees you are playing

3. Any member with a 30 handicap or higher may move to the “WHITE” tees regardless of age. You must clearly mark on the tournament signup / weekly competition card which tees you are playing.

4. Any member of the club may request an exemption to move up to the “WHITE” or “RED” tees. This exemption must be turned in to the tournament chairman 1 week prior to the competition so it may be reviewed by the tournament committee.

5. Play it Forward golfers: handicapping will be based upon your GHIN calculations for the tees played that day. Else handicap will be based on the Tournament Committee’s decision.

6. If a member moves up to the White or Red tees he will not be eligible for gross payouts.
